How To Invite Friends In League Of Legends?

League of Legends is an extremely popular MOBA game that is going strong for over a decade now. It is one of the – if not the – biggest esports game in history. The game is quite accessible for newer players since it isn’t demanding and relatively easy to learn.

While it is extremely fun to play alone, it is made even better when you are playing with your friends. However, if you are a new player, you might not know how to invite your friends to play with you. That is why we will show you how to invite friends in League of Legends.

To invite your friends, you need to click on their names on the right side and press the invite option. Alternatively, you can invite them by selecting their name from the suggested player’s tab in the bottom right of the lobby.

How to Play With Friends? 

If you are playing League of Legends on PC or Mac, you can play with your friends on the same platforms. It runs great on both platforms and you can enjoy it without any worries. 

To play with your friends, you need to first add them. To do that, search their username in the “add friend” option, and send them a friend request. 

Once they accept it, both of you will be able to see each other on your friends’ list. From there, you need to click on the large “Play” button on the top left side of the client. 

Then, choose a game mode that you’d like to play and create a lobby. After creating a lobby, you can right-click on your friend’s username and click the “Invite” button.

Once they accept your invitation and join the lobby, you can start the game and get in the queue. After a while, you will find a game and you can play it with your friends. It is extremely easy to play with your friends, and the game is more fun that way. 

Keep in mind that you can even invite players that you have recently played with. Since the game is more fun when you play with a party of 5 rather than matching up with randoms, you can invite a player that you had fun with by either adding them in your list or inviting them from the ‘Suggested Players” tab. 

With that said though, there are a few things that you should keep in mind while trying to add or invite your friends. First of all, you need to make sure that you are playing on the same server as them. 

For example, if you are playing on EUW and they are on NA, you cannot add them or play with them. So, make sure that all of you are on the same server. 

On the other hand, the level of the players does not matter when playing League of Legends, so do not worry about the ELO or if you’re a new player, you will be able to play without problems!

However, if you want to play ranked, you need to ensure that you are your friend are in a similar ELO. Riot allows you to queue up with players that are at least 1 rank lower than you.

So, you cannot queue up with someone who is Bronze if you are Gold. But, that’s only for the ranked queues.

Can You Play Wild Rift and League PC Cross-Platform?

Now that we’ve talked about how you can add and invite friends in LoL, let’s take a look if you can play Wild Rift and League PC cross-platform. 

Wild Rift is the mobile version of League of Legends and it is well-optimized for most mobile devices. Since it also has a large player base, many people wonder if you can play LoL and Wild Rift together. 

Unfortunately, Wild Rift and League PC are not playable cross-platform. This is intentionally done because both versions are quite different as you can see in the section above. It would be unfair for players of both versions to play against each other. 

It is extremely easy to move on a PC while you have to use the on-screen joystick on a mobile. Plus, the map is quite smaller in Wild Rift so that would make no sense if you could cross-platform. 

Since both versions are meant for their platforms, it is likely that we will not see the option to play cross-platform.
