5 Best Supports for Kindred in League of Legends

Kindred was a marksman that people never really see in the bot lane because of her kit, but with the introduction of mythic items in season 11, she became quite strong as an ADC. Kraken slayer and Galeforce are great items to build on her as an ADC giving her more playstyle.

Kindred is an excellent kiting champion that has one of the best peeling abilities in the game. She has slow and can leap multiple times meaning all she needs are support that can speed her up or enchant her basic attacks. These are the top 5 best supports you can pair with Kindred in season 12.

5. Morgana

Kindred is an unstoppable killing machine in the mid-late game, but her weakness is when she gets crowd-controlled. So itโ€™s only common sense that Morgana should work well with her, her black shield is a very underrated but overpowered ability you can use on Kindred.

To top it all off, Morgana is also a late-game carry champion meaning their duoโ€™s value doesnโ€™t fall off in the late game.

Best Item For Morgana

Shurelyaโ€™s Blessing

Morgana can black shield Kindred so she can be unstoppable while chasing enemies down. But the problem is how will they chase enemies down if they disengage using their flash? The answer is using a speed boost item making it easier for you to chase enemies down. This item also has a very low cost meaning it can be rushed.

Different Playstyle For Each Phase

Early Game Playstyle

Poke enemies with your Q + W and keep them away from the range of minions EXP and Gold as much as you can. Kindred can poke with her Q as well but only try to do so if you have your Blackshield up.

Mid Game Playstyle

Kindred is an excellent tower diving marksman so try to push the lane as fast as you can and help kindred lower the hp of minions. Once the opponents are under the tower, spam your Q and W to bring their HP down.

Once they are below half their hp, go for an all-in engage with Kindred and rely on Kindredโ€™s ult if you are about to die.

Late Game Playstyle

Kindred will have crazy range and damage come late game so she will be playing really aggressively. Try to match this playstyle by building items that lower your cooldowns. Spam your abilities and make sure you have an Hourglass so you can flash and ult in the middle of the opposing team and stun all of them so that Kindred can clean them all up.

4. Nami

Enchanters work great on Kindred as they can increase her damage and Nami is one of the best enchanters in the game. She can increase Kindredโ€™s damage, initiate fights with her crowd control abilities, heal Kindred and speed her up as well. Nami is the best support for Kindred because of her entire Kit

Best Item For Nami

Ardent Censer

Nami already has incredible enchantments that she can give Kindred and this item improves that even further. It increases her healing and shield strength and it also gives Kindred Bonus magic damage that synergizes with Namiโ€™s E.

Different Playstyle For Each Phase

Early Game Playstyle

Max your heal first as this will be the most common ability you will use in this duo. It is an excellent trading ability that heals Kindred and damages the nearest enemy at the same time. This will also be your main poking ability, sure you can use your Q in the early game but it already has a good value because of its damage and CC effect. Poke enemies with your W and make sure it bounces back to you or Kindred so you can heal and take no damage in return.

Mid Game Playstyle

You can go for an all-in engage with this duo during mid-game. Nami can initiate a kill with her ultimate and follow it up with her bubble. While enemies are stunned or slowed, she can enchant Kindred with her E to empower her basic attacks and add a slow effect to it and speed Kindred up at the same time.

Only try to engage enemies when you have your ultimates up if you donโ€™t have a lead, if you do then by all means kill everyone you encounter.

Late Game Playstyle

Much like mid-game, engage only if you have both of your ultimates up but this time, team fights become more frequent and focus on staying in the backline and keeping Kindred enchanted with your spells and items and healing her every time she needs it.

3. Soraka

Kindred is an ADC that can keep on going as long as her HP is up. She can 1v2 or 1v3 any type of composition, be it tanks or assassins. She just needs to keep her HP up to be able to put them all down and that is where Soraka comes in. When talking about heals, look no further as Soraka is the best champion to do it.

Best Item For Soraka

Mikaelโ€™s

Soraka has all the means to keep Kindred alive for extended periods of time but she has no way of mitigating crowd control abilities that are cast upon Kindred. Mikaelโ€™s is a simple item but has a very great value if an enemy has a crowd control spell

Different Playstyle For Each Phase

Early Game Playstyle

Poke enemies with your Q and E but be careful that you do not spend all of your mana in doing so. Try to max your heal first to pave the way for an aggressive playstyle for Kindred where she can poke enemies with her Q and get back safely.

Mid Game Playstyle

Always stay beside Kindred and you can encourage her to play aggressively even more because your heals are much stronger now. Opt for tower dives as well as you can both get out of it safely. Your heals and her ultimate guarantees your safe passage under the tower.

Late Game Playstyle

Stay in the backline for the late game as most enemies will be targeting you for your heals. Soraka is a crucial party member in the late game and if she is taken down first in the team, all of her teammates become vulnerable.

2. Lulu

Now here comes the swiss army knife of support champions, the one who has the most utility spells in the game and can enchant Kindred in every single way. She can speed Kindred up, shield her, peel for her, and even use her ultimate to keep enemies away from her. Lulu has already lots of utility spells and she can even improve this by building even more utility items.

Best Item For lulu

Moonstone

Lulu has all the shields and HP increases spell but she has no heals. Moonstone is a great item to get her simply because she can proc its effects quite often.

Different Playstyle For Each Phase

Early Game Playstyle

Much like any other enchanter support, you can poke enemies with your abilities. They are not that strong compared to mage supports though but theyโ€™ll do the job. Play defensively in the early game and let Kindred farm for her core items first.

Mid Game Playstyle

After achieving Kindredโ€™s core items Lulu can start calling for aggressive plays by speeding Kindred up as a form of engage. Lulu can use her ultimate as well right at the end of Kindredโ€™s ultimate so she can have better survivability.

Late Game Playstyle

You can stay in the front line in the late game using your Q to slow enemies down which can lead to a pick. Once you speed Kindred up after slowing an enemyโ€™s movement speed down, she can literally burst any champion down very quickly.

1. Yuumi

When talking about enchanting, nobody does it better than Yuumi. Her passive that increases offensive stats of ADCs is really strong, especially in the late game. Her heals are quite strong as well to keep Kindred healthy throughout the game. Her ultimate is one of the best chase or disengage spells that Kindred can utilize.

Best Item For Yuumi

Ardent Censer

Every time Yuumi heals Kindred while in the middle of a fight, not only does she increase Kindredโ€™s survivability but she also enchants her damage which stacks to Yuumiโ€™s already impressive Bonus offensive stat passive.

Different Playstyle For Each Phase

Early Game Playstyle

Poke your opposing bot lane duo using your Q, this will be your only value in the laning phase as you wonโ€™t be able to do much besides this.

Mid Game Playstyle

If you see Kindred start a fight immediately follow it up with your ultimate. Heal her whenever she needs it and just watch how she takes enemies down thanks to your passive that increases her damage.

Late Game Playstyle

Focus on clinging onto Kindred in the late game because this is the time she tries to 1v5 enemies. Heal and enchant her every time a fight erupts and try to reserve your final heal so you can use it right after Kindredโ€™s ultimate so you can bring her HP back up to full again. Making her fight enemies a little longer.
